Welcome to the Mountain Bike Alabama website.

The original site came about as the result of the first ever Alabama Mountain Bike Summit held in Pelham, AL on February 20, 2010.  The summit was hosted by the Pelham City Council, and was attended by representatives of IMBA – SORBA, ADECA, Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham and several mountain bike clubs from around the state. In October of 2013 we relaunched the site with a new brand identity and site design with a dedicated server to further enhance the online experience for mountain biking in Alabama. With new goals of bringing together the IMBA chapters throughout the state, Mountain Bike Alabama will be the number one source of up to date mountain biking information.

The mission of this website is to continue the cooperation and communication between the attendees of the summit and to promote the sport of mountain biking in the state of Alabama.  It will also include mountain bike related news stories, information on races, links to clubs, trails and bike shops and be a source of information for mountain biking in general.
